Generalities : Stabilized flowers are natural. Variations in sizes, shapes and colours can exist between elements of the same reference. Some parts may present slight defects (slightly split petals, damaged sepals...).
Use : Can be glued with hot glue or cold floral glue.
Can be stemmed either by cross wire technique or using flower holders.
Humidity : If the humidity level is too high, a few drops of colour can flow from the flower. Dark colours flow more easily. Do not put it in contact with any other flower or light-coloured porous material to prevent it from dying.
Light & heat exposure : The flower exposed to the sun for extended periods of time may discolour - Exposed to heat, it dries out.
Evolution over time : Over time, flowers tend to wither and fade more or less. Dark colours discolour more than light ones.

Odour : Stabilized flowers no longer have a natural smell. It is possible to add a fragrance by depositing one or more drops of our perfume « Alhambra » in the heart of the flower.

The preserved white gerbera is a must for plant professionals. The gerbera is one of the best-selling flowers in the world, it's impossible to do without it! It is both a passe-partout and easily identifiable, and is married with several varieties, thus offering all the leisure time for the decorator to experiment in its floral compositions.
The gerbera is part of the family Asteraceae. Originating from the temperate zones of Africa and Asia, it was discovered rather late in the 18th century by the Dutch botanist Jan Frederik Gronovius, who named it as a tribute to Traugott Gerber, a German botanist. Each gives him a meaning of his own, but one can nevertheless agree that the gerbera echoes a positive feeling, gaiety and sympathy! Generosity, kindness, tenderness, deep love, wonder ... the gerbera lends itself to several meanings. The color white adds a notion of purity, freshness, perfectly suitable for parties such as Christmas or Easter.
The preserved gerbera, star of the ornament

Round and bright, this flower that resembles the daisy is widely used in bouquets and floral compositions.
