ORIGIN AND SYMBOLISM
The hydrangea, which originated mainly in East Asia, is appreciated the world over for its timeless beauty and versatility in floral arrangements. It is renowned for its large, spherical inflorescences and lush leaves, which add texture and depth to any floral arrangement. As a stabilised plant, hydrangea retains its fresh, vibrant appearance without the need for water or special care, making it an ideal choice for long-lasting, effortless decorations.
Hydrangeas are also associated with a variety of symbolic meanings: in Western culture, they are often seen as a symbol of grace, gratitude and sincerity. In the language of flowers, the hydrangea can express emotions such as love, admiration and understanding. Its presence in a floral arrangement can bring a touch of softness and elegance to any occasion, whether it's a wedding, an anniversary or simply interior decoration.
